Our restoration
workshop offers a comprehensive upholstery
service ranging from a drop in chair seat to
a complete period sofa, we use traditional
methods where appropriate to maintain the
beauty of a period piece, modern foam of the
best quality is used along side the
traditional methods to re build more modern
pieces. To compliment this service we offer
a fabric barrier protection service, this
can be applied prior to delivery.
The frame of any
piece is essentially the building blocks for
a great design, and if over time this
weakens, the joints may become loose, dowels
can break, castors can snap it will require
a craftsman of great skill to rebuild the
design to match the same quality as
originally achieved.
To obtain this,
Simon Agombar has probably the best restorer of
our time dedicated to maintaining the quality of
past ,and present furniture and cabinet makers,
we are therefore able to offer a full
restoration service to any piece of furniture be
it repairing a pedestal on a dinning table or
securing the joints of a Louis chair, it will
all be meticulously repaired stained and
polished so the repair fades into the historical
